Parents come to me from time to time regarding their photo session outfits. My philosophy for children and family session is all about simplicity. It’s layering (clothes) and simple colors that make the photos uplifted and elegant. Towards the end of this session, I was playing around with little Henry’s jacket and sleeves. Popped up his collar and rolled up his sleeves. Voila!

Last summer, I worked with Dr Sheffield on photos of his orthodontic office’s staff. Shortly after, his lovely wife contacted me about family photos, since their kids are getting ready to head out to college. This family was full of energy and I am sure they will treasure these as they all become grown adults one day.
Karen is a talented floral designer located in San Jose. She owns the successful floral business called Huckleberry Karen Designs. We have known each other for a while and she even took my workshops. There is just something sweet and cozy about Karen. Last year, she asked if I was interested in photographing her family. Well of course!
