Hey there!

As far back as I can remember, I have always enjoyed looking at and taking photographs. You may not always like what you look like in photographs, but who doesn’t enjoy looking at pictures or being able to capture people, places, and things they have experienced? I’ve basically taken my personal passion for photography and turned it into a career that I absolutely love. I have been shooting weddings and engagement, kids, babies, and family portraits since 1999.

I describe my style as a combination of contemporary and classic. To me, this means working with each and every individual’s unique personality. I like the fact that my photographs are as unique as my subjects. Although I think there is a combination of different factors that makes a great photographer, I’ve always believed that the key to a successful photo shoot is to have a blast! and to make your subjects feel comfortable about being themselves. Being behind the camera has always motivated me to take great snapshots, but what really inspires me is the satisfaction I get when I’m able to give my clients memories that they will always remember.

I’ve known Brian for years. Brian’s cousin Jen is one of my closest friends from college. As you can see, I was THRILLED when Yoko contacted me and wanted me as their photographer.

This is a perfect example that no matter how close one is with the subject, the subject can still be very uncomfortable in front of a camera. It’s not something Brian and Yoko do on a day-to-day basis so it took a little time for them to get used to. This emphasizes the importance of an engagement session. This is the time when I get to know who you are, what you like and give you tips and tricks about how to look GREAT in front of a camera! I’ve learned a few tricks through the years *wink*
